Well I finally have my first laptop and this is something I have been looking into for quite some time now. The irony is that up until a couple of years I swore to my friend Chris that I would never own one. Well that was then and this is now. To be honest it all boiled down to the fact that I was going crazy getting up from the TV during a commercial break and rushing back because commercials were over. Is it me or do the commercials seem to go faster when you step away from the television?
I have to admit that I need to get used to Windows 8. I am not exactly sold on it just yet. In fact I had a little bit of a rough start when in the first couple of days. I ran into a couple of issues that were my own fault. I forgot what the one issue was. But the second one forced to me call tech support around 12:00 AM in order to restore my computer to its original factory settings. I wasn’t sure how long it would take, but I went to bed after two hours. Things have generally been fine, but I just have to get used to an entirely new Windows.
About two hours ago I discovered how to create recovery discs and that was by chance. It went faster than I expected and I am happy I did it. Unlike my last computer I too lazy to take the time and just had to order the discs. Let tell you something, it is much easier and a heck of a lot faster to create the discs than to order them.
Well that is all for now.
This goes out to my Facebook friends. I attempted to link my blog with Facebook. Please let me know if this comes up in your news feed. Although I will not be on Facebook for three months or so, I still want to share my blog posts.
Thanks for the help.
